The Government of Trinidad and Tobago, via the Joint Select Committee on Finance and Legal Affairs is seeking feedback on the implementation of a regulatory framework for the development of Fintech and e-payments. Specifically, feedback is being sought in respect of two objectives:

  • To determine the extent to which Fintech is available for use in the local economy and projections for its growth;
  • To examine the challenges that may arise with greater Fintech use and the sufficiency of regulatory measures.
